How do I change the assignment settings for my course?

You can change the settings for individual assignments[see How do I assign a Practice activity? or How do I assign a Test? for more details] but you can also change the default assignment settings for all assignments in your course.

Step 1: Click on Settings from the top navigation bar.

Step 2: Under Switch User Mode ensure that you are in Expert mode (message will say: You are currently in Expert mode). If you are in Basic mode, click on Switch to Expert mode Go to Personal Profile - if you are in Basic click on Switch to Expert mode to change modes. If you are in Export mode, click on Switch to Basic mode in order to change modes.

Step 3: Under Default Assignment Settings you can change the settings of all assignments. Use the check box to turn on/off case sensitivity, feedback or showing answers in the Student Report (useful if you want to assign the activities again later).
