If you and your students are entitled to the course, the eText icon appear

The normal entry point for eText is from the Table of Contents

When you click on the icon you are taken to the eText for your course. You may be taken wither to the index page, or to a specific point in the eText that provides learning material associated with that part of the course.

You may add notes and highlights for yourself or your students.

Your course may also have eText embedded within the content unit structure and within an activity (in student feedback)
