In order to remove a teacher form a course, you must:

Step 1: Go to Course Settings and Course Management 

Strep 2: from the list of courses, select the one you wish to change and click edit

At this stage you can see the information about who is associated with the course.

You can remove a teacher (by clicking the red x next to the teacher name)

You can alter the course owner
