What different types of activities are available?

Content is divided into:
  • Practice activities
  • Tests

and between:

  • Auto-graded activities
  • Teacher-graded activities

You can assign Practice activities to your students, e.g. as homework, and see their results in the Assignments column of the Gradebook. If you assign a Practice activity, the students will be unable to attempt the activity from the Table of Contents – it will appear in their to-do list and calendar on the Home screen. Once the due date or the assigned Practice activity has passed, the student will be able to access it in the normal way from the Table of Contents again.

Icons next to the activity title indicate the type of activity

This Practice activity is available students through the Table of Contents.

This Test is not accessible to students through their Table of Contents. This needs to be assigned to students for completion

A calendar event

An assignment that requires teacher-grading

A test that requires teacher-grading

An activity that is not scored (e.g. a reading task)
